1 Before you begin

1.1 Intended use

The LAP-TEQ PLUS Atmosphere is an additional sensor in the LAP-TEQ family for ambient temperature and relative humidity, which can display the sensor values on the LAP-TEQ Display.

The temperature can be displayed in °C or °F. The Atmosphere can be connected directly (without connecting cable) to the LAP-TEQ Display. Other LAP-TEQ sensors can be connected in series. During the start-up process you can choose which sensor you want to see on the respective display options.

Any other use that is not described in these instructions for use is unauthorised misuse. The manufacturer is not liable for any damage resulting from this.

1.2 What do the symbols used mean

Hazard warnings and notes are clearly marked in the instructions for use. The following symbols are used:

Danger

Immediate danger to life or injury!

Immediately dangerous situation that will result in death or serious injury.

Warning

Risk of death or injury!

Generally dangerous situation that may result in death or serious injury.

Caution

Potential risk of injury!

Dangerous situation that may result in injury.

Notice

Risk of damage to the appliance!

Situation that may result in material damage.
