4 Powering up

4.1 Connection

The Atmosphere can be connected directly (without connecting cable) to the LAP-TEQ PLUS Display. Other LAP-TEQ sensors can be connected in series. During the start-up process you can choose which sensor you want to see on the respective display options.

By default, a combination of the measured values of both sensor types is shown in daisy-chain operation.

4.1.1 Switching on the Atmosphere

If only the Atmosphere is to be read out, the switch-on procedure differs slightly depending on the reader device.

LAP-TEQ PLUS Display

  1. If only the Atmosphere is connected to the reader unit, the sensor can be started by simply switching on the reader unit.
  2. In daisy-chain operation with additional sensors, the Atmosphere can be switched on by pressing and holding the POWER-ON-Taste twice.

LAP-TEQ Motion Remote

  1. If only the Atmosphere is connected to the Remote, the sensor can be activated by simply pressing the LAP-TEQ-Taste.
  2. In daisy-chain operation, start the Atmosphere by double-clicking the LAP-TEQ-Taste. On the first double-click, PORT-A on the LAP-TEQ Motion Receiver is selected; further double-clicks take you to PORT-B and PORT-C.
